What a Drone Inspection Covers - and What It Doesn't

The honest scope of aerial inspection for roofs, elevations and sites.

A drone gives eyes where people cannot safely stand. It documents visible condition: covering damage, flashing defects, corrosion, blocked drains and obvious moisture staining. What it cannot do is touch, test or open anything.

That makes aerial review excellent for targeting and documenting, and poor for concluding. A stain seen from the air still needs a moisture check to know whether it is active. A lifted flashing still needs a roofer to judge the repair.

Used well, aerial inspection reduces scaffolding guesswork and creates dated records. Used dishonestly, it becomes a photo album sold as an assessment. Ask any provider which findings are confirmed and how.
